The Broker - What It Is
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something this new, that coverage is solid.
What You Trade On
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That should round things out once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.
Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Here is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
But. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.
The Bonus
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard deposit match. You deposit, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you deposit.
